About me
Hey you! Let me introduce myself: I’m Carlo Vittorio Colucci, a young Automotive Engineer from Italy.
Driving fast objects (especially cars) has been my passion for years, to the point of inspiring me for the choice of my future job. I’m a really curious person, with a lot of interests outside my work. In my free time, if I’m not on a racetrack, you will probably find me exploring some new place or looking for my next adventure.

The rise of a passion
I began to drive racing karts in 2014, competing in the Italian national championships and in international trophies. My extensive experience allows me to understand how to approach the work during a race weekend and what a driver wants from its vehicle to make it fast and fun to drive.
The beginning of a journey
I undertook my Bachelor’ studies and the first year of Master at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy. Here I acquired a solid theoretical knowledge and a good engineering mindset. During my studies I also worked for three years, as a driver and a prototype developer, with the Formula Student team Squadra Corse PoliTO. I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of how a complex vehicle assembly works and how to efficiently interact with people inside a wide team.

About nowadays
To complete my studies, I moved to Sweden for a double degree project at the KTH of Stockholm. During this time, I empowered my practical skills by working on various group projects and by joining the KTH Formula Student team as a Vehicle Dynamics designer.
Currently I’m working on my thesis project, with main topic the development of a Torque Vectoring control system and of a vehicle speed estimator by means of an SC-Kalman Filter.
